CLUBS

TU Dublin Archery is a club for all full-time UG and PG students with training in Grangegorman, Tallaght and Blanchardstown.

History

TUD Archery started in the late 2000s in Bolton street where it had many different level archers training. Some archers were training for the Olympics trials while others were just trying out. It started out strong and had many achievements from the start in Teams and League events competing under the name DIT. The club had a great success and reputation in competitions from the start and continues to have one. 

As the University has expanded, so has the club with training now taking place in three different locations, City (in Belevdere College), Tallaght and Blanchardstown.  As the years pass, the club has gained more and more members and has become one of the biggest archery clubs in the country with an average of 25 members competing in the IVs throughout the year.
