TU Dublin is home to a rich and supportive Powerlifting community, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to international-level athletes. Our club provides a space where members can build strength, improve technique, and push their limits together.
Powerlifting is a strength sport built around the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Success isn’t just about lifting heavy—it’s about mastering precise technique, where even the smallest details can make all the difference. In competition, lifters’ best attempts in each of the three lifts are combined for a total score, showcasing both strength and skill
Whether you’re chasing medals on the platform or simply looking to learn the basics and get stronger, our club is the perfect place to start. We’d love to welcome you to the team!
