CLUBS

We are a welcoming, active club for those inclined to go adventuring underground. We travel to explore amazing cave systems from wet muddy crawls to cathedral-like sparkling caverns, have regular training and social evenings and have longer trips away in the holidays! You don't need any experience and we'd love to have you on board.

So welcome to the unique and exciting sport of caving. It offers the opportunity to discover some of the most extraordinary and beautiful places on, or rather under, the Earth. It combines climbing, crawling, scrambling, and squeezing into places where very few other people have ever been. As a University caving club, we're aimed at novices, so you don't need to have any kit or experience to join us. Our membership fees cost €3. So come along and meet us, and I hope we can show you why we love what we do!!

We train every Tues from 18:30 to 21:00 on Larkin College Climbing Wall, where you can get to meet everyone, 

History

TUDCC was formerly known as Dublin Institute of Technology Caving Club (DITCC). DITCC was founded in 1992. Following the amalgamation of DIT institutions into a new university in 2018, the name changed to TUDCC.
