Handball

Welcome to TU Dublin Handball. Joining our Handball Club is an opportunity to not only stay fit and active but also to meet new people. We have had four intervarsity events this year including Killarney, Dublin, Belfast and Minnesota.

Achievements

We have had a lot of silverware come to the club this year.

In this year’s 40 x 20 doubles competition in Dublin, Conor Ruxton & Peter Doherty came runners up in the Men’s B final along with Andrea Delaney & Amy Byrne coming runners up in the Women’s B final.

In Belfast TU Dublin’s Eoghan Mc Ginnity was the Men’s Open Champion defeating Rory Grace of UL in a close tiebreaker. Meaning he was the Men’s Open collegiate champion.

Similarly, Conor Ruxton came runners up in the Men’s B final.

In Minnesota’s USHA 40 x 20 handball competition Conor Ruxton Defeated Nicholas Kearns of Mankato University in a close tiebreaker meaning he was the Men’s A2 champion.
